Single Mom in Need of Help

I have been a single mother for over 19 years. I have raised two wonderful daughters who are now 22 and 18 years old. I have devoted my life to them making sure they never felt the absence of their father in our home.   While doing everything I could to give my girls what they need in life, unfortunately, I hit rock bottom. Two years ago, we lost our home of 11 years due to an inability to get approved for a loan modification and my mortgage payment doubled so that I could no longer afford the monthly payments. I then had to start paying high rent and along with all of my other bills (including assisting my older daughter with tuition payments in college), I went bankrupt. I am still struggling, and made many bad financial decisions, including taking out horrible payday loans and predatory installment loans. I try hard everyday to figure out a way to get ahead, while continuing to pay necessary expenses.

The rent where we recently resided got to be too much for me and I had to move out two months early. Now, the landlord is seeking the two months of rent I couldn't afford, as well as attorney's fees.

I am taking on a second job to make ends meet, but because I am so broke, it will be quite some time before I can breathe easy again.

My health is suffering now due to so much stress.  I am experiencing chest pains for the first time in my life. I am also incurring additional stress in my job as a legal assistant. After 15 years on the job, changes are being made related to expectations of me, and I just don't know how much more I can handle.  Money is on my mind constantly  and I'm very scared. 

My older daughter is moving out of our home and my younger daughter is starting college in the fall.   My children have always been my whole life, so with even more transitions, I find myself in more unfamiliar territory and am quite emotional, to the point of depression. I know once I'm in a better financial place in life, I will feel less like a failure. 

I am respectfully asking for help at this very low point in my life. I am a walking financial disaster and am full of despair.  My parents have passed on and other than my daughters, I don't have any other family.   I have only a couple of friends who were in a position to help me in the last couple of years, but I need to pay them back. 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, and my goal is to one day in the future be in a position to pay it forward.
