Heaven Rae Kelley Memorial Services

Friday we lost a courageous, inspirational, loving and spirited girl. Heaven Rae Kelley passed away last night at the age of sixteen, just two months after her sixteenth birthday. My name is Maddie Dombroski and Heaven is and always will be my best friend. She fought a long and difficult battle with PNET (leptomenigial primitive neuroetodemal tumors). For the last five years, Heaven and her family battled this cancer and all the distress it brought with it but still tried to maintain a normal family atmosphere. The physical, emotional and financial stress that the disease brought to this family was relentless. Despite all of that, the Kelleys remained positive. Heaven's will to live , her expression of love to her family and friends always brought peace and hope to everyone surrounding her. Unfortunately, the cancer progressed beyond control and took over. While this beautiful human being has left us, her legacy of hope and strength lives on. I will forever be indebted to her for everything she has taught me about appreciating life, the little things, and true friendship. Please continue to support the Kelley family as they still have many medical expenses, as well as funeral expenses to endure. The support of the community and many followers of the Hope for Heaven page has been overwhelming and I can't thank you enough for helping my friend and her family through this journey.
