The Barber Family

Monday, August 14, 2023 my sister in law, Amanda, and her family (her husband and their three kids) lost literally everything they had to a wildfire in Florien, La. The fire spread quickly, but they managed to save themselves and two family pets, while being forced to leave everything else behind. Nothing in the house survived, not even the items in their safe. They had to leave in such a hurry that Amanda left without even putting on shoes. In an instant, everything they had worked for and cherished was gone. I decided to start a gofundme as a way to help them with upcoming expenses, lessen some of the financial burdens, and to help them start to move forward from this tragedy. I know times are hard, and many are struggling, but anything and everything is appreciated, even if it’s just something as simple as a prayer. Every little bit counts.
