Help a Single Mom Secure a Safe Home

I am completely embarrassed even starting this, but here it goes. As most of you know, my ex left me in a position where everything was taken, left me with no money, and was verbally, physically, and mentally abusive. Due to this, I have been doing the best I can as a single mama raising my kids.

With this being said, we also had a house to sell that almost ended in foreclosure due to him deciding he just wasn’t going to help pay anymore. God came through, and we sold our house last minute; however, we didn't make any money from it. It was sold for less than we bought it for.

I am in a tight spot and was approved for an apartment but need the money to be able to move in, which I don’t have all of it upfront, being I was left with nothing and still having my bills and responsibilities as a mother. I know it is the holiday season, and trust me, I am a person that does not like to ask for help. However, if anyone is able to help get my kiddos and I set up in our new home, we would be so very grateful to you all!

I never thought I’d be in this position at my age and have worked so hard to be where I was before all of these unfortunate circumstances. I just need help getting us set up so we don’t end up without a place to go before the holidays or have no place to go, period. I feel horrible for even asking, but thank you all for all the support through everything, and thank you all for any help you may be able to provide to me and my family! Love you all lots
