Help Mason walk again

 

 

 

Hi there , my name is Mason..I’m a 4 year old husky..until Friday the 11th of February 2022, I was happy ,healthy and energetic pup with everything going for me ( I was the stud of Cardiff )

On that unlucky Friday, my mummy and daddy took me for my favourite walk as usual and that’s ,when it happened.. I ran to meet some of my best friends, when all of a sudden, my back legs stopped moving and I didn’t know, what’s happening. I thudded to the ground and cried out. I was soo scared . My mummy and daddy rushed me to the hospital that evening . The lovely people in blue gave me lots of cuddles and

something , that made me feel funny. I remained in a hospital for 4 days ,missing mummy and daddy terribly

After many, many test, they found out ,that I have a non compressive disc extrusion, which means ,I damaged my spinal cord and I’m unable to feel or move my hind limbs.

 

Mummy and daddy took me home, where I feel happy again. They hope ,that if I do all my exercises, I might be able to play with my friends soon. They need some support to pay for the physiotherapy, hydrotherapy or possible future surgery. I was insured, however the blood test, MRI, hospital stay and special equipment already came close to £4000, which exceeded my level of cover. So I’m trying to help my parents to get some funds for my future recovery. I have a long road ahead to get myself back on my feet.
