Help My Grandfather Re-cover From Fire
Donation protected
David Lee Sr. and his beloved wife moved into this house in the early 1990s. David, a retired Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, relocated from Los Angeles to Pasadena in hopes of creating a better environment for his wife and their children.
This home became the cornerstone of their family, hosting countless gatherings and cherished memories. It was a place where their grandchildren, nieces, and nephews grew up and created bonds that would last a lifetime.
David’s mother also lived with them for many years until her passing in 2010. Her ashes, a treasured part of the family’s legacy, were tragically lost in the fire. David faced another devastating loss in 2018 when his wife passed away from stage 4 lung cancer after 52 years of marriage. Her death deeply affected him, and he continues to struggle with the grief.
Now, the fire has taken everything David held dear—his home, his memories, and even the cemetery where his wife was laid to rest.
