My name is Ibrahim Hamad, I’m 24 years old I live in Gaza and I’m dentist.

‏After years of struggle and dedication, I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry and became an aspiring dentist, from one of the most prestigious universities in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Then I returned to Gaza loaded with hope and ambition to build a decent life and serve my community, which suffers from a severe lack of medical services. I worked in a small clinic, equipped with the simplest equipment, and began receiving patients, trying to be a ray of hope in a city immersed in siege and suffering. for you

‏But suddenly, my life was turned upside down with the outbreak of the latest war. “I did not expect my dreams to turn to ashes in one night.” A violent bombing destroyed my house and the small clinic where I was working, turning them into rubble amidst the destruction, while my family and I were forced to live in an overcrowded school used as a temporary shelter, without water or electricity.

‏“As a doctor, I used to help others, but now I am unable to even help my family.” Despite the pain, I try to get back up, but resources are scarce, and needs are many. I don't have money to renovate a clinic or even buy basic medical supplies. My only dream now is to return to work in order to serve my community, which suffers from deep psychological and physical wounds.
