Carlos Strong
Donation protected
In May of 2022, Carlos was at school when he had lost consciousness. His family was not prepared for the news they were about to receive, the doctors found a mass on his brain. Carlos in 2nd Grade at the time, would need a biopsy so they could see what they were dealing with. Unfortunately, the mass was malignant, he was diagnosed with stage 4 Glioma of the Brain, an aggressive brain tumor. Throughout the summer, Carlos went through chemo & radiation and he was in and out of the hospital.
Carlos, now in 4th Grade, has been going through chemo ever since to keep the tumor from growing.
Carlos is friends with everyone he meets. He doesn't like seeing anyone left out or sad. He does everything he can to make sure everyone is included and not feeling alone. His smile is so big and contagious, it literally makes you smile. Still, through everything Carlos is dealing with, he is always cracking jokes and making people laugh. Not once will you hear him complain. You can tell he gets all these qualities from his family, as they are just as accepting and amazing as Carlos is.
With not knowing what the future brings, Carlos & his family could use our help. Every donation helps no matter how small you might think it is.
Letty, Carlos' mom, is a wonderful, loving single mother who has to worry not only about Carlos being taken care of, but also all the bills that continue to come in. Let's take the financial burden off her shoulders and let her focus on Carlos during this time of uncertainty. Let's come together and show them the love and support that they show the people around them.
If you are unable to donate, please share Carlos' story and keep Carlos and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
