Zuri Williams Galapagos Island Trip
Donation protected
My name is Zuri Williams. I am a honor roll student, girl varsity basketball captain, and vice president of the 10th grade class at Walnut Hills High School. I'm always looking for new opportunities and experiences (e.g., learning about different people, cultures, and languages). Fortunately my school's Science and Spanish departments have teamed up to take a trip to Quito, Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. Ever since I started learning about Charles Darwin, I knew I wanted to go to the Galápagos. I have the opportunity to take an 11 day trip and travel outside of the country on my own, not only benefitting myself and making me a more versatile person. I also get to do a lot of humanitarian work such as planting gardens, building homes, teaching students and just being a positive influence. I'll get to snorkel, hike, and zip line for the first time as well as meet native Spanish speakers to help in my languages fluency. The only thing holding me back from the trip of a life time is the cost. I need to raise $4500 before June so I can go. While working and fundraising on my own will be a great help, I also will need many donations to make this possible. Thank you for all the support and love!
