The only way is Rowing - campaign costs

In 2025 we are rowing the Atlantic Ocean.

Taking on this challenge as a group of strong and driven women, we hope to encourage others to pursue their own adventures and be the spirited warriors we know we all can be!

When the race begins we will all be over 50, proving that adventures aren’t just for the young; no matter what your age, we can all find our wild and achieve amazing things!

We are supporting the Wilderness Foundation UK and Rewilding Britain, Shelter and The Children’s heart foundation, these charities share our passion for the environment and the benefits that nature brings and supporting people during hard times .

Their missions also resonate with our own experiences of using nature to find our wild, enabling us to reinvent ourselves after some tough times.

As a crew, we spend most of our lives on the coast, both at sea and on our shores, but we find comfort and balance in nature everywhere. Our charities support rebalancing and rewilding environments to improve lives, nature and climate. They support communities to use as a healing tool, by forging connections with open and natural spaces. This therapy tool has helped a diverse range of people from those battling through abuse, to those from tough backgrounds,

Our experience is of the healing and meditative power of water, but this is also true of the forests, woodlands and countryside which the UK is famous for.

To do that though, we need to get to the start line, a mission in its own right. We have a boat, but that is just the beginning. In total we need to raise £75,000 but we are taking that step by step between now and 2025 with the first step being raising the £12,000 we need to equip our boat with the life raft, life jackets, harnesses, emergency position indicating radio beacons (EPIRBs) etc that will help to keep us safe
