On October 6th I got the call every parent never wants to receive..My son was shot in the head and being transported to the hospital. I was told my son was in coma on life support that the bullet hit major arteries in the brain with very little chance of him surviving. I was shook to my core the next day the doctors told me he wasn’t responding to the Neuro checks, brain matter was coming out and that I should take him off the breathing machine let him catch his breath on his own and let him pass away. I was offered surgery to remove the bullet fragments in his brain which they would need to remove his skull & that chances where he’d bleed out on the table & IF by chance he did survive he’d be a vegetable. I REFUSED! I was not going to do that to my son for my selfish reasons. The doctors again approached me to pull the plug & at that point I had enough. I told them I don’t want to hear it work on my son what’s the next steps! They took another CT scan put in the tracheostomy, feeding tube in his stomach & cleaned up his head wound. Doctors came back looking like they seen a ghost, his CT came back better than when his 1st arrived. The blood clot in his brain -DISAPPEARED and from that moment GOD had blessed my son in Miraculous ways. My son started opening his eyes & responding especially to my voice. He eventually started moving his lips to speak, following people with his eyes, to eventually breathing on his own.. talking moving his right side within 2weeks left the ICU to leaving to kaiser to the rehab-all within a month!! THATS THE POWER OF THE MAN UP ABOVE! This is my sons testimony- and within a week my son will be coming home and will need a hospital bed-wheel chair & lift so if anyone can help us God Bless Your Heart. We always need continuous prayers MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!
