Mav's Deaf Night Out

Hi, all!

My "Deaf Night Out" events are back for 2024.

For those who aren't familiar, I, with the help of supporters, buy tickets for Deaf families to attend sporting events as a group.

One event is already on the books and there are a few more that will be announced soon!

Announced:

September 5th: Deaf Night at Frisco Roughriders baseball in Frisco, TX

Date TBA:

September 2024: Deaf group at a Dallas Stars preseason game. (This event is connected to the Frisco Deaf Night)

Fall 2024 Oklahoma Sooners Football (Tentative). This will not be a group event, but an opportunity for a few members of the Deaf community to enjoy each game.

In addition to these events, I am planning a Deaf Nights in several other cities, which will be announced when they are confirmed.

For those who are unfamiliar, I am deaf and have worked in sports for many years. I work to encourage teams to hire deaf employees and I make myself available for questions about managing deaf and disabled employees. These nights allow me the opportunity to meet with team leaders.

Future Deaf Nights this summer include: Houston, Chicago, Minnesota, Kansas City, and Oklahoma City.

If you would like a Deaf Night in your city, feel free to contact me through this page and we can try to make it happen.

One change this year is that I will be buying fewer tickets to give away and will focus on subsidizing discounts so that even more people can attend!

 

 

As always, friends of my project are invited to attend group events. If you would like to go, please contact me to make arrangements.
