Hannah’s Cancer Journey & Road to recovery!

Hiya,

As some of you may know for the last nearly 2 years, I’ve been battling cancer. Originally I had stage 2B gastric cancer (in my stomach). Which unfortunately spread to my pancreas. 3 months later at a PET scan unfortunately 4 tumors were detected in my bowel. After 2 operations and radiotherapy & chemotherapy finally got the all clear in October 2022.

Unfortunately as the cancer had spread through the inner supportive muscle layer and through the outer layer of my stomach; i have been left needing reconstructive surgery on my stomach. I am on the NHS waiting list but unfortunately the NHS waiting list for this type of surgery is currently backing up 2026.

This I news has broken not just me but my family also as I am at quite high risk which will only get higher the longer I remain the way I currently am. Unfortunately if the worst does occur before I get this surgery, the outcome would very quickly become fatal.

I have had the option to go private and receive some NHS funding but unfortunately this wouldn’t cover the whole operation.This operation will be life changing for me and will allow me to progress forward not only with my life but with other medications to positively help my long term health condition.

I have set this Go Fund me page up because as you can see, going private for this surgery isn't going to be cheap. Any donations or shares anybody can make towards this could quite literally change my life.

I can promise and assure you, every penny raised will be spent on the surgery and any associated costs.
