Help Cheryl Recover
Donation protected
On Sunday September 27, co-workers started to get worried about Cheryl because no one had heard from her in 4 days. This is very unusual because every morning Cheryl would send a text message to 3 or 4 of us and say, "Good Morning". Cheryl's major fear was something would happen to her and nobody would know.
Cheryl lives alone with her dog Dexter. On that Sunday we called her, texted her but no answer. A co-worker went over to her house and knocked. All she heard was Dexter scratching at the door. Police where called and then the Fire Department. They broke her door down to gain access. They found Cheryl in Bed and very ill. They told us, "if we waited another day, she probably would have died."
Cheryl is currently in the hospital and her stay is anticipated to be quite long.
We are co-workers of Cheryl's and are trying to raise enough money to help her with her bills, as she lives alone and has very little support.
Cheryl is faced with a long, challenging and uncertain road to recovery.
As a co-worker, I have personally seen her go out of her way to ensure people's technical issues are resolved the first time around in an efficient manner. Cheryl has always been a hard worker who takes pride in the services she provides.
Now is the time for us to look after her.
