Pakistan Flood Relief
Donation protected
You have probably seen the heartbreaking scenes of the floods in Pakistan reported across the media. Houses, schools and hospitals have been destroyed.
Millions are now homeless. They have lost all their food stock, livestock and essentials. They have no access to food, sanitation and clean drinking water. May Allah SWt ease their suffering and give all those affected sabr and strength. Today millions of our fellow brothers and sister are in need of our help. Along with our Duas they also need our aid.
On the 11th of September I will be participating in a fundraising walk with Ashton Hiking Club and climbing Mount Snowdon.
We will be collecting the money within the group and sending the money directly rather then through a charity InshaAllah. The money will be going to Sardar Ashgars Sons (a trusted family friend of one of the AHC organisers), to support a flood affected community in the South of Punjab. This is a really poor region of Pakistan and has been devastated by the floods. They are on the front line so to speak. All the money we send will be spent on urgent necessities such as food, water, clothes and temporary roofs over their heads.
All money raised will be used directly on the front line with all people involved supporting on a volunteer basis.
Please donate as much as you can to help, every little helps. Pakistan Zindabad
