I bought this house in 2007 following a nasty divorce. I knew it was in need of repair but at the time I was without a home and staying with my sister. The guy that owned it agreed to hold the mortgage on it In 2009 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and went through chemotherapy 33 radiation treatments and a mastectomy I struggled through and with the help of friends family and lots of prayers I eventually got back on my feet. In 2013 I paid the house off and planned to do the needed repairs. I went to my bank for an equity line but was denied because the house didn’t appraise for enough. So I got a personal loan and did what I could. I had the porch rebuilt painted the exterior had ductwork replaced and I bought the wood to repair the bathroom it ran out of money for labor so I stored the wood at my neighbors and it was stolen. In 2018 a huge limb from an oak tree fell on the bathroom roof I filed a claim with my insurance but it wasn’t near enough to do the necessary repairs. The roofer that looked at it said the walls were too weak to support a new roof so I tarted and patched it as best I could but it continued to leak. Last week the rotten saturated wool collapsed and the tub dropped about 4”. It is sitting on a 4x4 beam that has completely collapsed. I can’t shower I have to go to my sisters to bathe. I truly appreciate any help I can get. I’ve debated on doing a go fund me for a long time and didn’t feel right asking for help but now it’s t is to the point get help or move
