HELP SUPPORT NICK

Hi motorcycle community!

The staff at Motorcycles "R" Us are reaching out in support for Nicholas Franks. Nick is a 24-year-old employed technician and on Thursday 7th December was out testing a motorcycle that he had just finished working on when he was struck by a car coming out of a driveway. Nick was placed into an Induced Coma at the scene because of a serve head injury and he has not yet woken from his coma but is showing signs of improvement, our thoughts and prayers are with Nick in this time of need, we are trying to raise funds to help pay Nicks medical expenses during this incredibly challenging time.

Nick joined our family business in 2018 working at our Bundaberg store with Anthony and Nikki Armstrong. When we made the decision to move Anthony and Nikki back home to Brisbane, Nick was afforded the opportunity to continue his employment at our Brisbane store which he accepted. It was only last month Nick celebrated a life changing achievement completing his apprenticeship as a motorcycle technician and was full of joy looking forward to a life as a fully qualified technician.

Nick is the most kind-hearted young fella and doesn’t know how to say no, he always makes himself available for overtime or to even help in different departments that he is not familiar with, just to help the team and make sure things get done.

We are looking for support for Nick as he has a yet unknown journey ahead of him. Whilst we are limited in what we can do for Nick we hope that by offering this financial assistance it will alleviate some of the burden.
