My sweet Grandson Whittaker, (Caleb and Molly’s son) was admitted to the children’s hospital in Alabama on Monday 3/27/23 with severe 2nd and possibly 3rd degree scald burns to his face, chest, and arm.
After three days of dressing his burns to determine the severity of his wounds, the doctors feel that the best treatment for Whit is to undergo skin graft surgery.
On 3/31/23 Whit underwent surgery called “ReCell” to help generate regrowth of skin cells which will promote healing and hopefully minimize scarring. He has a long road ahead to full recovery. Pray there are no complications and he recovers well.
Many have reached out asking how they can help; prayer is at the top of the list. The future is uncertain as to what care Whit will need and medical expenses are mounting.
Funds raised will be used solely for any of Whittakers medical expenses not covered by insurance. Molly and Caleb are beyond grateful and overwhelmed by all of your love and support! We are all putting our faith and trust in God for healing ❤️ Thank You.
