Hypoplastic left heart syndrome and Hydrocephalus

Hi, my name is Brixton 

I was born two and a half weeks early because I needed a shunt placed in my head to fix my hydrocephalus which means I have too much fluid in my brain, and I have hypoplastic left heart syndrome which means I only have half a heart. I had my first of three heart surgeries when I was only two weeks old! My next one will be when I’m 3-6 months old.

I had the shunt put in when I was only a few days old, it had gotten infected and removed and it took about a month to recover. I finally graduated the NICU after 77 days!! I am so happy to be home.

My Daddy is taking a break from the army to be with me. My mommy and daddy need your help. Even sharing my story is so greatly appreciated
