In Memory of Darius Cooley

Darius Cooley was a growing gentle giant who transitioned way too soon. At the age of 16 he was 6'3 and over 200 lbs.  I've known Darius since 9 grade and he had a great spirit. As Dean of Student at Loyola High School I was able to talk to Darius frequently; attempting to help mold him into the man he would eventually become.  

Like any other kid Darius made mistakes and his dad and I would have to meet (more times than we really wanted to lol) but overall he was a great kid. He would spend countless days at my house because his grandfather stayed around the corner; he was treated like one of my own kids. My daughters loved him and he loved to be around. He will truly be missed but his memory will remain in our hearts and in our works! 

All proceeds raise will go to his family to assist with final arrangements.
