Please help me and my family save my dad's life.
December 1, 2015 my dad will be going back to Sloan Kettering to have a big portion of his cheek removed due to cancer, he will need to stay in the hospital for a minimal of two weeks. The surgery will take 8 hours The doctors need to remove the cancer then a plastic surgeon will attempt to reconstruct his face. He will be placed on a breathing tube along with a feeding tube for a couple of days until he is stable. Then more radiation to follow that. He will be out of work for some time without any income coming in.
Last year my dad had cancer removed from his cheek, the doctor did not get it all out and it spread to his lymph node, he spent a couple of days in Sloan to have a bunch of his lymph nodes removed followed by radiation and now a year later the cancer has come back full force.
As as everyone knows with all these procedures comes huge medical bills.
To give you a little insight on my Dad he is currently doing a selfless act by leaving in his Thyroid Cancer to be enrolled in a study so researchers can see how thyroid cancer acts left in the body. He is risking his own life to save the future generation. So I will do whatever I can to save his life.
When i was born my grandfather, my dads father bought me a Life Insurance Policy and the only way to help my dad out was to have his own father help him out from his grave so I sold my life insurance policy an gave it to my dad.
Anything you may be able to contribute will be greatly appreciated. If nothing else please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers.
