Help Lay Uncle Joe to Rest

On Sept 9, 2024, our uncle, Jeffery "Joe" Francis was involved in a hit and run accident just minutes from his Dulac home and died from his injuries the next day. No suspect has been identified yet and police are still investigating the incident. (Houma Today)

Hurricane Francine has shut down our community and force many of our family members to evacuate. The cost of evacuating and being out of work due to the storm has put a hardship on our family as we try to lay Uncle Joe to rest.

Uncle Joe's smile and his funny personality will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He had no children or spouse but loved every one of his nieces and nephews. He was always helping anyone in need, and now he is needing the support of our community.
