Helping the people of Pakistan’s flood disaster

Hi,

My name’s Saddique, my family is originally from Northwest Pakistan, I was born and raised in the UK. Because of my family heritage Pakistan has a special place in my heart.

Unfortunately the country has been ravaged by the recent floods and many people who were already living below the poverty line have now had what little they did have completely destroyed. I’m fundraising to help those people of Pakistan who's lives have been utterly devastated by the floods.

Over a thousand people have lost their lives and more than one hundred and sixty million people are in severe danger. People have lost their homes, their livelihood and livestock.

People are without a roof over their heads, food or clean drinking water. With a lack of fresh water there’s also the danger of water born diseases spreading. My aim is to provide as many people as possible with water pumps and tents so they can at least begin to piece their lives back together.
