Raise The Roof at Pemberton Animal Well-Being Society (PAWS)

Dear Community,

We are reaching out with a heartfelt request for your support in an initiative close to our mission and core values at Pemberton Animal Well-being Society (PAWS). We are embarking on a crucial project - RAISE THE ROOF - aimed at doubling our capacity and significantly improving the lives of animals in our care.

Our Goal:

To raise $20,000 for the construction of two new dog enclosures at our Airport Road location in Pemberton. These state-of-the-art units are designed with the well-being of our canine friends in mind, featuring heated indoor spaces for comfort during the cold months, and fully covered outdoor areas to protect them from the harsh elements. This expansion is not just about shelter; it’s about creating a nurturing environment where our animals can thrive while they await their forever homes.

The Urgent Need:

Shelters across the province are facing an overwhelming number of surrender requests, Pemberton is no exception. Our current facilities

are stretched thin, limiting our ability and capacity to provide refuge to animals in need, particularly during extreme weather conditions.

This project is a step towards addressing this dire situation, allowing us to extend our help to more animals, regardless of the weather

challenges Pemberton faces.
