Help a family in need

Dear Friends,

On October 26, 2021, mother of three, Melissa Ann Trumpy, went missing. She was last seen in Monroe WI as she headed out to meet her boyfriend, Derek Hammer, in Shannon IL. Her vehicle, with her purse and cellphone, were found in on the side of a road near Shannon. 

So far, Derek has not cooperated with authorities about the events of the night Melissa disappeared or about her whereabouts. Extensive search efforts to find Melissa are continuing. Her parents, siblings, and members of the community have been out every day. Melissa’s three beautiful children are wondering where their Mom is.

Currently, the family’s entire focus is on finding Melissa, searching the areas recommended by authorities and contacting anyone who may have information. As is typical during a crisis, work and other daily activities are at a standstill. 

Of course, Melissa’s parents, siblings, and children still have housing, food, and other basic expenses. And there may be additional expenses when she is found.
