On April 30th, tragedy struck our family. My daughter Angelica, her husband Robby, and 4 children (aged 2 to 6) were involved in a terrible car accident that sent 5 of them by helicopter to different hospitals in the area.

Angelica had sustained broken ribs and a spine fracture and Robby has a broken arm. My 6-year-old grandson sustained a broken arm and 2 broken legs and is now recovering from surgery. My granddaughter miraculously made it out without a scratch. My 4-year-old grandson had 2 broken legs and a head wound and is recovering from surgery. My 2-year-old grandson did not survive his injuries. The family had recently celebrated his birthday.

Robby and Angelica are doing their best to care for the kids and themselves during this terrible time. Soon the kids will be released from the hospital but will have a long road of recovery ahead of them.

This fundraiser was started to help the family as they begin their recovery and will help to chip away at the increasing debt the accident has caused. Their vehicle was completely totaled and the hospital bills are stacking up by the day, not to mention the PT and hospital visits to come.

All funds raised will go directly to the family to offset medical bills, obtain a vehicle, and provide basic living costs during this incredibly challenging time while they begin the process of healing.

I can't imagine the strength it must take to face each day with such a huge hole in your heart and still have little ones looking to you for care. Prayers are welcome as this family needs them now more than ever.
