Help Charlie

Hey everyone, as many of you know my mom Charlie Rutto has had a myriad of medical issues caused by hernias. She had had over 30 surgeries related to them and has been in and out of the hospital with countless complications many times.

Because the state of Washington does not recognize a hernia (or multiple) as a disability, she has been forced to work, but every time she goes back to work she suffers from intestinal blockages and ends up right back in the hospital.

On Feb 26th 2023 she was rushed to the hospital with Sepsis, blockages, many fistula, and was very critical. She fought for her life for over 3 weeks. The hospital she was in didn't have the capabilities to treat such a complicated wound but miraculously Harborview agreed to take her and save her life.

She is STILL in the hospital, over 100 days now and still counting, though her wound is still very much complicated. My aunt Raelyn has serveral photos of the wound if you are not squeamish, feel free to message her if you are curious. She will also be posting any updates about my mom to make sure you guys are in the loop. My mom has given permission for me to share so that others can try to understand what she's going through.

If disability would have approved her she wouldn't have had to go back to work and spiral into this.

It's been very hard for her and now her and I desperately need your help. Despite all what the family has tried to cover for her, (which we genuinely appreciate any little bit and all the help we've gotten already) She is still unfortunately very behind on rent (and other bills) and could be facing eviction very soon. So I am begging you to please help her. Any little bit counts and will help tremendously.

If you know her, you know that she is the most caring and kind person in the world and I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better mom and I wanna do whatever it takes to help her out in anyway.
