Help 30+ Foster Kids in Philly

Donation protected
Begun by artist and art collector Zachary Fae, the Fae Foundation represents a couple's decades-long effort to rescue children in need from the foster care system, as well as promote the arts in Philadelphia.

Shown in the cover photo, the Fae family home. Over the last three decades, Zac Fae and his wife, Deborah Fae, have worked withover 30 needy children in Philadelphia. They have personally provided financial aid and home assistance to disadvantaged foster children, and supported their relatives to get them out of homelessness. Additionally, Deborah Fae works at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in the heart surgery ward, and tends to over 1,000 child patients annually.

Now, the Fae family home is at risk of foreclosure. The Faes took out a high-interest loan over ten years ago. They had always faithfully made their payments on time, until Mr. Fae became seriously ill roughly two years ago. Since then, the couple have fallen behind on some of their payments.

Their current needs include supporting the eight children who rely on the Faes right now, including using their home as a shelter intermittently. In the future, if we are able to save the house, the Faes would also like to help more children, starting with the relatives of those families they have been assisting.

Keeping the house as a place to show the couples' art collection is also desperately needed. They have no other building out of which to operate as an organization, or to provide the public with free access to view the artwork Monday-Friday.

Your donations will go directly to keeping the house from being foreclosed on. If we are able to raise the funds we need, the Faes will be able to continue helping to house children and their family members--helping them to recover from trauma, heal, and thrive--and also continue sharing with them the beauty of visual art.

The Fae Foundation Fine Art Collection is worth a visit, and represents a worthy philanthropic cause as well.
Viewable by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. Free. Call [phone redacted].
