Day of Gender Equality launch
Donation protected
Help us launch a Day of Gender Equality on 30 May 2018 with a gender equality cricket match - Sir Paul Getty XI v FairBreak XI - and summit.
Purchase tickets here to attend the cricket match and summit, or donate via this GoFundMe campaign. Donations will help LIVE STREAM the match across the globe and support our players so we can continue our mission of global gender equality.
This will be the first time the Sir Paul Getty XI fields a women's cricket team having invited the FairBreak Global XI to play this inaugural match.
The FairBreak Global XI is made up of players from 11 different countries: Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, New Zealand, Oman, Rwanda, Singapore, USA, Vanuatu and West Indies.
From our understanding this is the first time that this has occurred in women's cricket.
By purchasing a ticket, you are helping to end energy poverty by putting a SolarBuddy light in the hands of a child living in darkness. This event is held in conjunction with the Commonwealth Businesswomen’s Network and naming rights sponsor 23 Capital.
By supporting the event you are not just supporting women's cricket (126 million watched the last women's World Cup final) but women in general and equal opportunity. The issue of Gender Equality is one of the most important of our time.
Education, opportunity, health and safety for women and girls are the reasons FairBreak exists. Cricket is the vehicle we use to promote these initiatives. It's about standing up, leading the way and taking action in a way that immediately impacts the lives of woman and girls.
Your involvement demonstrates that you adhere to these principles and see beyond the Bat and the Ball.
