Fallen Jamel Myles Fund

In memoriam, hours ago, Jamel Myles from Denver, Colorado told his parents he was gay and was proud of his identity before being bullied by classmates, taking his life days later. 

This is an absolutely awful story. Four days is all it took at school. Never let anyone tell us the fight for equality is over. 

I'm starting this go fund me to help with funeral costs and a 50/50 split towards mental health intiatives. I'm not sure about the costs yet but I'm certain there will be some. 

We are working with The Mango Group. They are an professional philanthropy group and these funds will not be used for commercial and corporate benefit. The allocation of these funds will be managed by a dedicated accountant as part of group and will provide full transparency through funds on a drop box file. We plan on contacting the family once the goal has been reached to get their input on mental health initiatives they would like to support.
