families of children killed in fire

Around 4AM on Sunday, a fire started on 22nd & Sacramento that spread to two houses and two garages. The Ayala, Contreras, and Mendoza families, who are related to each other and were sleeping in the same building, lost 10 children in the fire, ranging from 4 months to 16 years old. They are collecting donations to cover funerary and hospital costs. 

A portion of donations may be given to other displaced families as rent money. 

Donations can also be dropped off at Amor De Dios Church on 24th & Sawyer.

lavillitachi.com has been given permission by the families to collect the funds. A family friend and a relative are supervising this fundraiser.
