YWCA of Cass ClayChildren’s Book Drive
Tax deductible
Last year over 750 children stayed in our local YWCA emergency shelters, and I’m on a mission to help provide the children who stay there with a variety of quality, engaging, and educational books. This book drive will give these children something new that’s just for them, while also contributing to their general education.
With Usborne Books & More’s “Literacy for a Lifetime” program, each donation will receive a 50% match. Your tax-deductible donation of just $25 can get at least 4 high quality books into the hands of our local kids in crisis. Any amount you have to give would help greatly!

More information about YWCA Cass Clay: The YWCA operates the largest Emergency Shelter for women and children in North Dakota and Northwestern Minnesota and provides 18 units of safe and affordable, short and long term housing options to assist low-income women. A unique empowerment approach and comprehensive programs designed to break the cycles of poverty and violence for women and their families make the YWCA the only facility of its kind. In addition to safe shelter and supportive housing, programs include: a food pantry, children’s services, education and employment programming, racial justice work, and a nationally accredited public childcare center, A Child’s World.
