Farm Toys for Tots
Mission: Farm-Filled Christmas Joy
100% of the proceeds of this very merry crowd-fund will be used to purchase toy livestock haulers and other farm-themed toys, and then we'll mobilize our network of farmers and ranchers around the country to distribute the toys to Toys for Tots drop-off locations from sea to shining sea.
Background
Farmers and ranchers make up less than 2% of the U.S. population, which means agricultural literacy is more important than ever. As the 2015 Holiday season approaches that literacy is at stake again as vegans petition Wal-Mart to stop selling what they call a "slaughterhouse" truck.
Although news outlets have called the ERTL Big Farm Livestock Hauler a "new toy," farm families across the country know better. The toy, in one incarnation or another, has been a staple in the collections of boys and girls for generations.
Rather than engage in negativity this holiday season we decided to spread cheer. For Christmas we'd like to help get Big Farm Livestock Hauler toy trucks and other ag-themed gifts into the arms of even more kids. By contributing to this crowd-fund you can help.
