Hello everyone, I’m trying to raise money for a young man facing some health issues. This time of the year is hard as it is, and with it being the giving season I want to help give to someone else who needs it. His name is Derek Garcia. He’s a Senior at GPHS who has been suffering from a very rare illness involving his equilibrium and ability to walk. He hasn’t been able to walk for some time now, and is going to be undergoing a surgery in Louisiana within the next week. I went to high school with both of his older brothers and played for his dad in baseball. They are all great people, who are going through a tough time. Walking into high school as a freshmen and not being able to walk out as a senior is heartbreaking, the donations may not be able to give him that ability, but they may help him get to a doctor who can. I don’t have an End goal, and I’m not asking for any certain amount. If you decide to give whatever you decide to give is appreciated. I ask you don’t go and contact his family about the donations because I want for it to be a surprise for them. Thank y’all in advance. God bless!
