Domestic Violence Sucks
Donation protected
I’m a Survivor of domestic violence. I’ve never been the type of person to feel comfortable asking for handouts but at this point I don’t have anywhere else to turn, and a lot of my friends on social media have been asking how they can make donations so that’s why I’m setting up this GoFundMe.
For the past 2 years I’ve been involved in a very unhealthy relationship. Over the holidays the abuse escalated to the point where I finally got up the nerve to leave him. I moved out of his house and got my own place. On the morning of Friday the 13th I was surprised to see someone at the door with a bouquet of flowers.

It was a trick. My ex brutally attacked me with a metal nightstick from head to toe when I opened the door. He beat me severely, destroyed my laptop, took my phone and my money, and left me for dead. I’ve been in surgery the last few days at Las Vegas UMC trauma center. Both of my hands and arms were broken. I had surgery on my right arm and metal plates and screws implanted in my right hand. Over the next few weeks more surgeries are scheduled for my left arm, and facial reconstruction.

I still can’t believe everything that’s happened in the last few days. I guess I’m in shock. Everything feels surreal. I’m lucky to have some very supportive friends who are taking care of me 24/7. I can’t even bathe myself, or do much without help because of my arms.
I have medical expenses and need to cover medication. I won’t be able to work for at least 2 months. I plan on temporarily leaving the area and taking some time to recuperate and maybe write a book about my experiences which could help other women in domestic violence or sex trafficking situations. The money raised on this GoFundMe will help with my medical expenses, relocation expenses, and living expenses until I am back on my feet.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. No matter what I try to keep smiling even through the pain. :)
