FDR Cougar Track Team Needs You!

This year myself and another coach are revamping FDR High School's track team. In the past, it's only been a few kids without many resources. Now, we have a whole bunch of interested kids, but unfortunately still lack the resources. 

We want to create a sense of community and high morale. Many of our kids come from homes without parents to guide them or have parents who work so hard to take care of them, they return to an empty home every day. They are wonderful kids that need guidance and direction. That need community and a reason to stay off the street. I don't want to air any personal stories as to respect the privacy of our students, but a lot of them NEED a place to belong. And we need YOUR help. 

Thankfully, Track doesn't require a lot of equipment like other sports. But, we do need uniforms and many of our kids don't have the means to get them. We really believe a uniform--something that seems so basic--will yield comaraderie. Think about it. As an athlete or even as a fan, nothing beats seeing your teammates or your favorite team all lined up in uniform ready to compete. We want our kids to experience that feeling.  Please help us. ANY amount makes a difference. As our team progresses, we will happily update you and send footage of our achievements.
