Raising Money For Autism

As some may know April is Autism Awareness Month . Autism is a lifelong development disability which affects people's interaction with others and how they perceive the world.
Some may also know I have a son who's been diagnosed since the age of 1 and it's been an ongoing process. I was confronted by a family friend who's daycare he attended about him
not reacting to the loud noises and him having a "spaced out look" . Family also pointed out the same thing saying he wasn't the same (we had moved away for a few months) . After making him an appointment the ENT tells me he has a lot of fluid builded up in his ears and he needs to have tubes placed which helps his hearing out very well. Both the ENT and his primary recommended early intervention because he was now delayed . Later during the 6 month evaluation I was told my son has autism. My family and I didnt take the news very well and at times I've blamed myself for it a lot not properly caring got myself while I was pregnant. Thankfully therapy has helped him a lot and I'm learning how to share my story with others as well as how I can help advocate for my son and eventually other families affected by autism.
I found a Non Profit organization in December by the name of Nassan's Place in which I hold dear to my heart. This is the organization I would like to help donate money for. You can find them on Instagram @ Nassans_Place . Or the Facebook page "Nassan's Place". You may also visit www.nassansplace.com. Their goal is to help make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by autism. (Same exact thing I stand for). They aim to provide services and resources in and around under serviced communities such as educational and recreational programs , social outings and etc . No donation is too big no contagion is too small and all donations are appreciated. Nassan's Place has their own walk April 22nd on Saturday in the New Jersey area if anyone will like to come out you may send me a message I'll gladly share the information with you
