Felix's Savings Fund

On December 26th, Adam Clausen and Shannon O'Leary were killed in an car wreck on their way home from spending Christmas with Adam's family in Bend, OR, his home town. The couple's beloved four year-old son, Felix, was uninjured. Felix is safe and loved with family, but many people have reached out asking for a way to support him. The funds raised in this campaign will be used to fund his support and future education. 

Shannon O'Leary was a physics professor at Lewis and Clark College, where she loved teaching and was a strong proponent of women in the sciences.  Adam, also a physics professor for eight years, was a consultant at Kolisch Hartwell in Portland. They were married 2009. In addition to their son, Felix, the couple leaves behind an enormous, loving group of friends from various colleges where they taught and attended school in pursuit of their degrees, including the University of Puget Sound, the University of Oregon, Lawrence University, the University of Portland and Lewis and Clark. They also leave behind family, struggling to move forward in the absence of such bright and beautiful souls.

They were adventurous, intelligent, kind, loving and beloved and we miss them tremendously.
