Who we are

Fellows In ARMS is a community eSports team focusing on the Nintendo Switch fighting game, ARMS. The team consists of 7 players based in: Sweden, Pakistan, the USA, and Canada; and is led by Dennis “Defur” Bagstevold. Besides being an eSports team, Fellows In ARMS has worked hard to support the community of ARMS by: hosting podcasts, exhibition matches, community awards, and tournaments; while also making content like community montages, player interviews, and tournament trailers.
Our story
Despite being a team without sponsors, the players have with their own funds and community donations, managed to travel to events such as Smash Out Hunger 2017 and EVO Japan 2018. Now with next goal to get Fellows In ARMS to Smash ‘N’ Splash 4, we would like to ask the community for help.
Our wish is that, with your help, get our Pakistani player Mikael “M30W-” Kazi to the biggest ARMS event to date - Smash ‘n’ Splash 4.

Mikael is a great ARMS player who has been severely held back by his location. With no local fighting game community, he’s been playing in tons of online tournaments where he has either placed high or won the event as a whole, while simultaneously staying up to 5 or 6 AM to be able to play in them. However, due to his location and the speed limitations of the internet, he has been excluded from many tournaments both from Japan and the West. With the support of his parents, they rebuilt a part of their house for him to play, and he has even been working on his own technical solutions to enhance his connection, but it’s still not enough.
We know that M30W- is one of the best ARMS players in the world, and as we believe in him, we want to support him in his endeavours. If you feel the same, please consider donating to our cause!

We don’t just want to ask for money - we want to give back to the community as well. Therefore we have collaborated with the artist Fidget (@BucketArt) to bring forth a summer and Smash ‘N’ Splash inspired design! This design will be available on our Teespring Store on Tank Tops, T-Shirts, Women's Tees and Beach Towels! And, the first 80 people who donates over $8 will also be able to receive the design on an ARMS inspired badge (x2 per person)! All who donate will also get a 30% discount coupon for our Teespring Store as well (where all profits there will go to this cause as well). Just make sure to include contact information when donating - otherwise we won’t be able to reach out to you about this! Exact info to take part of this is at the bottom of the text.
Besides gifts, we also want to give back to the community by making content for it as well, so as we climb closer to our goal, we will host and stream an in-house Fellows In ARMS Tournament, have more frequent ARMS players streams, exhibition matches, party streams and put out more video content on our YouTube Channel . We will give you more updates on this as time moves a long, but are also open for suggestions!

Questions & Answers
- Who are confirmed to go to Smash ‘N’ Splash 4 so far?
Hanukkah Jamboree is confirmed to be the official Tournament Organiser for the ARMS tournaments at SnS 4. He won’t be able to participate in the tournaments, but will support the event!
Defur, PineappleFreak, Nobi and Cat are all confirmed to be going to the event and participate in both the Customs and Defaults tournament!
- What will the money go to exactly?
The money will solely be used for the traveling fees associated with going to and from the event. We want to ask for as little money as possible so that we can help more people attend.
- What happens if M30W- isn’t fully funded?
It depends on the amount, if we can’t fill the entire amount, we will personally try to help M30W to get there if possible. Otherwise we will split the donations so that the other members with cheaper traveling costs can go.
- This sounds too organised, why not a Kickstarter?
We don’t feel like we’re established enough for that platform. We’re just a group of people who wants to play and support ARMS, as well as the Smash ‘n’ Splash tournament series!.
- Can I donate to specific members?
We’d like to go with M30W- first and foremost. We’ve based the decision on the players economic situation and location, in combination with their performance in the game!
- What happens if M30W- gets funded?
Then we’ll explode of joy! No but seriously though, IF we would get to that point then all the other proceedings would go to help the other Fellows In ARMS members with their travels to Smash ‘N’ Splash.
- How do I get the badges and the 30% sale on Teespring?
To get the badges, make sure to donate donate over $8 and include an email address that we can contact you on (so we can reach out to you about sending the reward). After we’ve received your contact information we will mail a letter to you containing the badges and the sales ticket! Times for retrieval of the badges will depend on number of orders and which country it’s going to as everything will be packaged and sent from Sweden.
- Why is the address in the USA?
Since GoFundMe isn't available in Pakistan, and having Swedish currency instead of Dollars would be confusing for a lot of people, we wanted to make things as clear as possible. Therefore we have used Calebs address as the base for this GoFundMe.
