Kayo's Football Academy Fundraiser

Kayo's Football Academy aims to enrich the lives of children through sports. The organisation has blossomed from a small idea into an effort that brings soccer/fútbol to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity to play the game or be exposed to elite coaching & equipment. The academy focuses on providing training to athletes from ages 6 - 16 years, emphasizing all principles of the game from fundamentals to advanced techniques. A coach trains attendees in soccer principles, a certified instructor teaches academic foundations, and a social worker aides in building crucial developmental skills & highlighting any barriers to overall wellness. All staff volunteer their time freely to ensure the success of the program. It is based in Linden, Guyana (South America).

This fundraiser is being held to assist the academy host its annual tournament and family day. The event is free to the entire town and is usually funded entirely by the organisation's founder (Kayode McKinnon) and a single benefactor (Rickland "Tallo" Hutson).
