Dear family ,friends ,and the Jiu-jitsu community
Professor Train has been diagnosed with
Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (sometimes called NHL, or just lymphoma) its a cancer that starts in cells called lymphocytes, which are part of the body’s immune system.
My name is Gary Angelette ,owner of NOLABJJ Westbank ,and I have been best friends with Professor Tran for years...he is a big part of Nolabjj and Has been training jiu-jitsu since the early 2000's and received is black belt in 2012.
He is a friend and mentor to anyone that walks in our gym and has been donating his time and knowledge to everyone
The money we raise will be going to his medical bills and we will be remodeling his bathroom ,adding a stand up shower, to make it easier on his family.
I will be writing a check and handing it to him personally...
