Sarah's fight for Motherhood

This page has been established to support Sarah and her family.



During the later stages of Sarah's pregnancy she caught the flu. As a result her gorgeous boy arrived earlier than planned and following his birth Sarah was, and remains, in a critical condition in an induced coma.

I'm creating this page to help support my brother, his wife Sarah and their tiny new baby boy. He is too proud to ask for help himself, but as you can imagine the cost of living 270 kms from home, with limited help and support around you, maintaining a bedside vigil by your wife in ICU, and also caring for a newborn is quickly taking its toll.

I am in awe of his strength, his courage and his outlook, despite the situation he is facing.

Funds raised will be used to meet the financial needs of Sarah and her family at this time such as travel, accommodation, living and ongoing medical expenses.

Her baby boy has never had the chance to lay with his Mum, snuggle into her chest or hear her infectious laugh.

If nothing less, we hope this raises awareness at the high risk of the Flu during pregnancy.
