Support for French Family Carr Fire

My name is Stacey Young. I live in Redding, California . This family is my daughter Jessica French and her family Richard, Chase and River French. They lived in River Ridge subdivision and were evacuated, then told they could go back. When returning to their house, they witnessed the neighborhood engulfed in flames and were forced to leave. Their house was among the majority of the houses in the subdivision that were completely destroyed. 

At this time our family is all safe at our home, however, Jess and Rich and their boys have lost everything. They were renting their home and did not have renter’s insurance so they have lost everything in their home. We are trying to get help for them to get the bare minimum to get back on their feet. This will include funds to rent a new home, to purchase furnishings for their new home. They will need to replace their appliances lost. They also will need to buy clothing and basic necessities for everyday life. Jessica lost her home office and will need to replace her computer, printer along with office supplies. 

Richard is currently a fire fighter helping folks just like themselves. Anyone who knows my daughter Jess knows what an amazing, giving human being she is. She has given her all to her job, her personal life and to her community over and above any person I know. She spends her time uplifting our community and spreading cultural awareness through inviting students from around the world to our beautiful city as well as other states around the USA.

I am so incredibly proud of her and her little family and my heart is just broken for them. If you are one of the lucky people to know her, or even if you aren’t, I hope you can help them in any little or big way you might. She would never ask for help for herself, right now she is only thinking of others. I have gotten a lot of requests for how folks can help her, so I decided to set this Go Fund Me up.
