Launch: Fired Up Leader Life

The Vision
Seven years ago God laid this vision on my heart.  He revealed a path toward establishing a teaching ministry to teach leadership in a biblical context.  There are others who do this, but I believe God is calling me to teach to the everyday leaders, our young people, our college students and young adults, our small business owners, and not just people already in leadership roles.  Over the course of the last year some incredible events have taken place to step out in faith and begin the work that God has called me to do.

1The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.

The Need
Recently a Barna Group poll found that 90% of Americans believe that we are facing a leadership crisis in our nation.  Today we are more concerned about whether or not a leader in business, our communities, our schools, or our nation is a Christian.  We spend a great deal of time, energy, and resources on this.  Rather than worrying about whether or not a leader is or is not a Christian the time has come to raise up leaders who:

(1)  Know their identity in Christ;

(2)  Give themselves entirely to God and allow Him to develop every part of them;

(3)  Pray and seek God’s will;

(4)  Are Empowered by the Holy Spirit.

The Name
The name I was given for this teaching ministry is Fired Up Leader Life  (FULL). Fired Up means to get excited, empowered, rallied, encouraged, or motivated.  Additionally the acronym is FULL.  We can no longer afford water-downed, sugar coated teaching.  We need to have the full Gospel taught from the start of Genesis to the last period of Revelation.  Fired Up Leader Life is not related or connected to any specific Christian denomination in order to reach the widest audience.

The Purpose
The greatest and central task of a leader is raising up the next generation of leaders.  Leadership is about influence.  We never know who we will influence when we begin pouring life into others.  A leader shares a vision.  But leadership does not stop there.  The next step is for the leader to raise up, mentor, train, and develop new leaders through equipping, empowering, and encouraging.

Who is Peter?
Peter has been a college student educator for over 21 years.  Over the last year the call to launch this ministry has grown.  Peter holds a Ph.D. in Education where he studied leadership and faith development.  He continues to teach leadership and organization development online for colleges.  Currently Peter is completing Ministerial credentialling classes through Global University's Berean School.

How Can You Help?
You can help me launch this ministry by partnering in 2 ways.  I am setting up this GoFundMe.com site to raise the funds that are needed to launch this teaching ministry.  I will need both prayer and financial support in order to make this happen.  The vision that God has shown me is that this ministry will be fully supported so that conferences are free and open to all.

First, pray. Pray with authority as I need your prayers, and I know I am helpless to do anything good apart from God's grace.  Please pray for God’s continued favor on Fired Up Leader Life.

Second, support the Ministry financially.  Your gifts and partnership will allow me to engage this ministry full time.  Helping to raise up Godly leaders who are passionate about following Christ as they lead.  I have full faith that God has already lined up the necessary financial resources to make this ministry a reality and you are a part of that plan.
