FIU Men's Rugby 7's Nationals

Hello friends and family,
The Florida International University (FIU) 7’s team has won the SIRC Championship. This means that we are now able to participate in the College 7s National Championships. The team recieves very minimal assistance from the University; the club is mostly self funded as such the events that we are able to attend is rather limited. This includes other conference championships such as 15s
We are writing today to ask that you assist us in our fundraising goal to make it to Colorado to participate in the USA Rugby College 7’s National Championships. We have already started working events to donate the funds we earn towards the cost of the trip. Due to being full time students, we do not hold full time jobs and cannot fully pay for this trip out of pocket.
Currently our estimated (we are still trying to get lower group rates) costs are:
$3000- hotel
$3000- flights
$700- 15 passenger van and gas
Please assist us in meeting our fundraising goal as soon as possible so we can book our trip to proudly represent Florida in the 2018 USA Rugby College 7’s National Championships.
