Florida Licensed Midwives
Donation protected
Florida Licensed Midwives have a long, rich history serving families. Since 1996, more than 33,000 babies have been born with the help of a licensed midwife.
In October, Florida ACOG and the Florida Medical Association announced that they are pursuing legislation and rule-changes that may impact how licensed midwives can practice and who they can serve.
Florida Licensed Midwives are calling upon YOU to help protect licensed midwifery. Please donate to the Florida Licensed Midwives 33 for 33 Campaign.
Florida Licensed Midwives are raising $33,000--that's $1 for every baby born with the help of a Florida Licensed Midwife since 1996.
With these generous donations, an alliance of Florida Licensed Midwives will pay for a lobbyist who will represent the midwives and consumers in this year's legislative session. This lobbyist is vital to protecting licensed midwifery, access to home birth and birth centers throughout Florida.
