Fly Daniel Home!
Funds exceeding the $3,100 required for the trip will contribute to any unanticipated costs Daniel may run into along the way.
Futher donations will be put towards Daniel's tuition at New Saint Andrews College (unless otherwise specified by selecting a "wishlist item").
Daniel is hoping to fly home to Congo this Summer to see his family for the first time in two years, attend his sister's wedding, and meet his one-year-old brother. I've attached a message from Daniel (below) with details about the trip.
Thank you for sharing and donating as you're able!

Hi everyone, I’m Daniel Bishikwabo, an international student at New Saint Andrews college in Moscow, Idaho. I’m a Congolese from the D.R. Congo and have been in the US for 2 years and 4 months now. I’m the oldest of eight siblings, my father is a missionary pastor in rural areas in my province, and my mother stays home taking care of my young siblings (3 sisters and 4 brothers). The youngest brother was born a year ago and the oldest of my sisters is about to get married. I’m pursuing a Christian Liberal Arts degree with a goal of going back to work as a teacher in my country and to help my people who live under poverty and death threat, in whichever way God will enable me to help. I’m halfway through my studies but since I came, I have not been able to visit my family. I would like to go to visit them this Summer, 2017, for one month, but I cannot afford the round-trip ticket.
I need at least $3,100 to buy a round-trip ticket ($2,074), to provide for my food and mostly transports for different visits ($400), to cover some of my family needs as they are going through difficult times of debts and lack of income ($500), and to provide for potential incidentals ($100).
Your help will be appreciated and my family will be honored because of you.
May God bless you!
Daniel Bishikwabo
