Destany Fasano

My beautiful granddaughter is 11 year old Destany .  In July She  had a massive cancerous brain tumor removed from the back of her head called  Pilocytic Astrocytoma. This type of cancer can return so she will need MRI's every 3 months and will be dealing with this fear for the rest of her life. She was in the Barbara Bush hospital but she is home now and has patient therapy 2x's a week.  Her speech was affected   but doctors believe by October she should be back to normal.  Her right leg is numb. In the meantime, her mom is just getting back to work  so we are asking for help with groceries and any further care Destany might need at home.  They have to travel to Portland for the MRI and her surgeon and oncologist is there.  If we didn't bring her in to st. marys hospital to get tested, she would have died. Destany has a great sense of humor and a beautiful spirit. Please help her mom and Destany manage this battle. Thank you so very much!
