Hey Everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. I'm trying to raise money for my grandma Emma in Zimbabwe to have an operation. So the story goes as follows...
My grandma, of an amazing 91 years (92 in a few weeks!), had a fall a few months ago. She serverly damaged her hip and we put together some money for her to have an operation. My mother, carried most of the financial burden, which went well into the thousands of pounds, whilst dealing with the her own issues that life was hurling at her. Without her strength and finances my grandma would not have survived.
After various expesive treatments, she needs another surgery as she is having a little trouble with healing some of her wounds. The treatment will close these up surgically so that it speeds up her healing process and reduces the chance of infection. So this is where I ask for your help.
Her next surgery is costing over £2000 and I would like to fundraise at least a thousand to help with the hospital/surgery costs. I would like to do this as soon as possible so that my grandma can have the surgery.
I ask for your help not only becuase of the effect my grandmother has on my life but the one my mother has had on my life. Their bodies have worked to pave a way for me to be a sucessful graduate in a foreign world. I was able to break barriers because they broke their backs for me.
