For Lydia and Michael Jansen

With the help of a caring employer and close friends, my wife, Kris, and I helped start this Go Fund Me page to honor the memory of our dear friend, Mike Jansen, and to provide for the education and well-being of his two beloved children, Lydia, 14, and Mike, Jr., 12. Mike was the brother of my heart and soul who lived with us the past four years. He died this past Memorial Day in a tragic ATV accident. Though not a man of means, Mike had a generosity of spirit that touched the lives of everyone he met. Our family is committed to ensuring that his children have a financial safety net.
